My story!
-
Reeve Fatuova
I decided to take everything I love about wrestling and create a business around the similar lessons and morals that the sport has taught me. I want BUSTZ to be the platform to empower girls everywhere, by hearing my story and inspiring girls to pursue their own dreams and push their limits. You can accomplish anything you set your mind to if you never give up.

the idea
From being the statistician on my high school wrestling team to then wrestling my last 2 years in high school— I feel in love with the camaraderie, the competition, and the family atmosphere that wrestling has. But there was one thing I didn’t like: the apparel. While I was getting all the wrestling essentials, I noticed there was something missing: a women’s wrestling sports bra. Every conversation with other wrestlers revealed they faced the same issues I did. For some, the high neck of the sports bra fit, but the sides didn't cover their full chest. For others, no matter how high the neckline was, it was never high enough. The minute they got into stance position, you could see inside the sports bra. Even worse, most had to wear both a sports bra and a halter top to get the full support and coverage they needed. I realized no one had the sports bra we needed, so I decided to design my own. After 3 years of product development, it's finally here: BUSTZ, the high-impact combat sports bra. Now you can compete with complete focus, feel confident and not have to worry about coverage.

Finding my purpose
Jeff (left), Petrock (middle), Mr. V (right)
My journey began when my high school’s wrestling coach, Petrock, convinced me to wrestle with the boy’s team. After a year Mr. V proposed an idea, “imagine if you created a sports bra for female wrestlers, do you know how cool that would be?” My ‘haha yeah, ok,” response quickly became a, “Lets do it.” With the help of Jeff, Petrock, and Mr. V I was able to achieve all my wrestling accomplishments in high school. -

The One Who Believed
My mentorship with Steve Silver has been one of the greatest blessing in my journey. Guidance, honesty, and unwavering belief. Steve has shaped the way I think, lead, and build BUSTZ, grounding me with perspective while pushing me toward my highest potential. He’s the person who challenges me, protects my vision, and reminds me who I am as a founder when things get loud. Our relationship is built on trust, respect, and a shared commitment to elevating women’s wrestling, and it continues to transform me as a leader every day.
